Terms of Service

The service

Kinreader lets you submit supported URLs, text, and files, then prepares readable text and narration with synchronized word highlighting. Features, supported sources, voices, plans, and availability may change as the service develops.

Kinreader is a tool for listening to material. It does not grant you rights to material published by someone else, bypass subscriptions or access restrictions, or replace the original publisher’s terms.

Your content and permissions

You keep the rights you have in material you submit. You give Kinreader a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, copy, process, convert, and deliver that material only as needed to operate the service for you and the people you choose to share with.

You are responsible for the material and links you submit or share. You must have the rights, permissions, and lawful access needed to use them this way. Do not submit material that infringes another person’s rights, violates a publisher’s access rules, contains malware, is unlawful, or harms others.

Sharing controls who can open a listening item through a link. Anyone who receives a share link may be able to access the linked material. Review the item and its audience before sharing it.

Accounts and acceptable use

Some features require an account. Provide accurate account information, protect access to your sign-in email and sessions, and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without permission. You may not interfere with the service, attempt to defeat usage limits or security controls, scrape it at scale, or use it to violate law or another person’s rights.

We may suspend or limit access when reasonably necessary to protect users, providers, the service, or legal rights. You can stop using the service at any time.

Plans and billing

Listening to existing shared recordings is free. Creating new audio requires a paid Pro subscription or purchased Studio credits. Paid Pro subscriptions are processed through Stripe. Pro has no free subscription trial. Payment is due when you subscribe. Before you complete Checkout, Stripe presents the selected billing period and price. Taxes may apply where required.

Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the selected monthly or annual interval unless canceled. You can manage or cancel a paid subscription through the Stripe billing portal available in the app. The portal and Checkout explain the effective cancellation date. We do not promise refunds except where required by applicable law or stated at Checkout.

We may change prices or plans for a future billing period. If a change affects your subscription, we will handle it through the billing process and applicable requirements.

Generated narration and third-party material

Automated extraction, narration, and word timing can be incomplete or inaccurate. Check source material yourself before relying on it. Kinreader does not provide legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice, and does not endorse material submitted by users or published by third parties.

Links may lead to third-party sites and services. Their content, availability, and rules are their responsibility.

Disclaimers and changes

We provide Kinreader on an “as available” basis. We do not promise that it will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that generated results will be complete or accurate. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.

We may update these terms as the service changes. We will post the updated terms here and revise the effective date. If you have a question about these terms, contact tam@repurgo.com.
